MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital's cancer program provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art surgical treatments. Our Radiation Oncology Center offers an easily accessible, modern treatment environment as part of our patient care. The Center is staffed by full-time radiation oncologists and supported by an expert staff.
Our Inpatient Supportive Care Program serves cancer patients who have a life expectancy of six months or less. The program provides much-needed emotional and family support and is well received by patients and their families. When appropriate, all unnecessary medical procedures are discontinued and arrangements are made to discharge patients to their homes or a hospice.
Clinical Trials
The MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital cancer program participates in a number of clinical trials on an on-going basis.
