Occupational Therapy

Every day, countless people experience problems that significantly affect their ability to manage their daily lives. Occupational therapists can help these people regain and develop skills for independent living and overall health.

Occupational therapy provides skilled treatment including:

  • Customized treatment programs to improve function for activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, cooking, cleaning, driving and returning to work
  • Recommendations and training in the use of adaptive equipment to replace lost function
  • Evaluation and treatment of hand and wrist dysfunction to improve strength and coordination
