MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital has named Michelle Germain, MD, FACOG, as Chief, Division of Gynecology and Director, Women’s Health Services.

As an urogynecologist, Germain specializes in the treatment of urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction, and other related disorders.

Dr. Germain comes to MedStar Good Samaritan from the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, where she was Director, Osteoporosis and DXA Services. She earned her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine, completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the National Naval Medical Center, and her fellowship at the University of California – Irvine, specializing in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery. She is also completing a master’s degree in Medical Services Management at the Johns Hopkins University.
