George Ruiz, MD, cares for patients with advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension and adults with congenital heart disease. He also cares for women with heart disease during pregnancy.
Dr. Ruiz is the chief of cardiology at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and MedStar Harbor Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, advanced heart failure and adult congenital heart disease.
Along with his colleagues, he also cares for patients with infiltrative cardiomyopathies such as amyloid and cardiac sarcoid.
