Career Pathways

MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital through the Department of Education and Staff Development has joined together with local colleges and universities to create opportunities for employees to pursue careers in the healthcare profession. The hospital provides educational opportunities for nurses who aspire to advance their professional career. Programs are available for beginning students as well as advanced licensed professionals. Our partnership with these local colleges and universities has allowed us to offer classes on site, online or on campus. We celebrate the achievements of our employees as they successfully graduate from accredited programs earning certifications or degrees. MedStar tuition reimbursement is available to employees to provide the financial support needed for these education programs.
