Faculty Manual and Requirements for Schools of Nursing
Welcome to MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital!
MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital places great value on our relationships with schools of nursing and their nursing students. Our goal is to provide you and your students with the best possible clinical experience, while providing safe and competent care to our patients.
These manuals are provided to facilitate your orientation to MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital. Please print and review a copy of all three parts of this manual prior to coming to the hospital to begin your clinical experience. It is mandatory that all forms in Part III be submitted to Joy Burke, RN, MSN, CCRN, in the clinical placement office on the first day of clinical.
Service excellence is part of the MedStar Health culture. Our Spirit Values highlight the behaviors expected of all our associates. It is our expectation that students will adhere to these same standards while providing care to our patients.
