Kimberly Spriggs-Whitacre
Director

Ms. Kimberly began working at the Child Development Center in October 2017. Ms. Kimberly has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education as well as a Master of Education in Early Childhood Curriculum and Instruction. She also has her 45-hour Infant & Toddler and 99-hour Pre-School certifications.

Ms. Kimberly has spent over 25 years providing educational and developmental services to children from birth through six years of age. It is her passion to ensure that all children have the opportunity to learn and grow in an environment that has been created to meet their needs.


 

 

Rosilly Simms,
Administrative Assistant/Teacher

Ms. Rosilly joined the team at the Child Development Center in August 2016. She has an Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Development as well as an Associate of Fine in Performing Arts in Illustration. In addition, she has her 45-hour Infant & Toddler and 99-hour Pre-School certifications.

Ms. Rosilly loves working with children because they always manage to surprise her in so many ways. Their happy smiles never cease to brighten her day.


 

 

Brooke Dunstan
Teacher

Ms. Brooke is a teacher in Infant Room 1 at the Child Development Center. She began working at the Center in August 2017 and is currently completing her Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education. She also has her 45-hour Infant & Toddler and 90-hour Pre-School certifications.

Ms. Brooke loves watching children grow and learn new things. They always put a smile on her face, and she strives to be a positive role model for them.


 

 

Soniell Roberts
Teacher

Ms. Soniell is a teacher in Infant Room 2 at the Child Development Center. She began working at the Center in January 2018. She has a Child Development Associate's degree and has completed her 45-hour Infant & Toddler and 99-hour Pre-School certifications.

Ms. Soniell loves to work with children because she loves watching them grow and develop. Children are precious to her, and she is passionate about giving them the best education.


Star Saunders
Teacher Assistant

Ms. Star is a teacher assistant in Infant Room 2 at the Child Development Center. She joined our team in November 2012, and she has earned her 45-hour Infant & Toddler and 90-hour Pre-School certifications.

Ms. Star enjoys working with children because they always manage to keep a smile on her face. She loves teaching them new things and watching them implement her teachings throughout the day.


 

 

Michelle Eades-Taylor
Teacher

Ms. Michelle is a teacher in the Pre-Toddler Room at the Child Development Center and began working at the Center in June 2014. She has a certification in Early Childhood Education Administration as well as her 45-hour Infant & Toddler and 90-hour Pre-School certifications.

Ms. Michelle enjoys working with children because she loves to watch and encourage their development. She finds children to be lovable and funny, and being around them makes her day.


 

 

Latonya Lundy
Teacher Assistant

Ms. Latonya is a teacher assistant in the Pre-Toddler Room at the Child Development Center and has been part of our team since April 2018. She has an Associate of Science in Fitness and Exercise, as well as her 45-hour Infant & Toddler and 90-hour Pre-School certifications.

Ms. Latonya finds children to be amazing and a joy to be around. To her, it doesn’t matter how you feel when you come to work, children will always manage to make you smile with their unconditional love.


 

Michele Denisio
Teacher

Ms. Michele is a teacher in the Toddler Room at the Child Development Center, and she has been working at the Center since November 2012. She also has her Child Development Associate's degree, as well as her 45-hour Infant & Toddler and 99-hour Pre-School certifications.

Ms. Michele enjoys watching the children grow and develop as they move from class to class. She believes that no matter how you feel beforehand, whenever you enter the class and are greeted by smiling children, you can’t help but feel as happy and energized as they are.


 

 

Janice Radford
Teacher Assistant

Ms. Janice is a teacher assistant in the Toddlers Room at the Child Development Center. She began working at the Center in March 2018. She also has her 90-hour Pre-School certification and is working toward obtaining her 45-hour Infant & Toddler certification.

Ms. Janice finds it extremely rewarding to work with children. She enjoys watching them grow and learn new things daily. They always warm her heart and put a smile on her face.


 

 

Sylvia Hancock
Teacher

Joining the team in December 1998, Ms. Sylvia is a teacher in the 2-Year-Old Class at the Child Development Center. She has her 45-hour Infant & Toddler and 90-hour Pre-School certifications, and she is currently working on obtaining her Child Development Associate’s degree.

Ms. Sylvia loves working with children because she likes how curious they are about everything around them. She wants to make a difference in their lives and teach them all about the world in which they live.


 

 

Keshia Holliday
Teacher Assistant

Ms. Keshia is a teacher assistant in the 2-Year-Old Class and began working at the Child Development Center in July 2016. She has an Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Development as well as a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. She also has her 99-hour Pre-School certification.

Ms. Keshia has always loved being around children and has been fascinated with watching them learn and grow. She enjoys witnessing the children’s transformation every day in the classroom.


 

Effie Boone
Teacher

Ms. Effie is a teacher in the 3-Year-Old Class and has been working at the Child Development Center since June 1991. She has her Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Development and has earned 45-hour Infant & Toddler and 90-hour Pre-School certifications.

Ms. Effie enjoys seeing the smile on a child’s face and feeling that connection after she has helped a child with something as little as putting on their shoe or teaching them something new. Their hugs are wonderful too!


 

 

Erica Pittman
Teacher Assistant

Ms. Erica is a teacher in the 3-Year-Old Class and joined the Child Development Center team in April 2018. She has an Associate of Arts in General Studies as well as her 99-hour Pre-School certification.

Ms. Erica finds that nothing is more satisfying than watching a child accomplish a goal they were working on for months. Seeing their satisfied faces when they’ve met an objective gives her a great feeling of success.


 

 

Casie Wolf
Teacher

Ms. Casie is a teacher in the Pre-School Class and started working at the Child Development Center in 2011. She has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and an Associate of Arts in General Studies. She also has her 45-hour Infant & Toddler and 99-hour Pre-School certifications.

Ms. Casie enjoys working with children because they never cease to amaze her. She also enjoys their inquisitive nature and their unending enthusiasm for learning and adventure. 


 

 

Marie Tutchton
Teacher Assistant

Ms. Marie is a teacher assistant in the Pre-School Class and joined the Child Development Center team in 2007. She has her 90-hour Pre-School certification.

Ms. Marie loves working with children because to her, it honestly doesn’t feel like a job. Both she and the children have so much fun and implement that into their daily learning activities so that it doesn’t really feel like work.


 

 

Eartha Hancock
Mobile Teacher Assistant

Ms. Eartha is a mobile teacher assistant and began working at the Child Development Center in February 2006. She also has her 45-hour Infant & Toddler and 90-hour Pre-School certifications.

Ms. Eartha believes that children are the future. By teaching, loving, and nurturing them, she firmly believes that they can grow to become whatever they strive to be.


Laura Wallington
Mobile Teacher Assistant

Ms. Laura is a mobile teacher assistant and joined the Child Development Center team in March 2017. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and has her 45-hour Infant & Toddler and 90-hour Pre-School certifications.

Ms. Laura enjoys working with children because they can bring out the best in you, even when you are having a bad day. Working with each new child brings along a new adventure.


 

 

JuQuetta Dodd-Parker
Mobile Teacher Assistant

Ms. JuQuetta is a mobile teacher assistant and began working at the Child Development Center in June 2018. She has her 45-hour Infant & Toddler and 99-hour Pre-School certifications.

Ms. JuQuetta loves working with children because they are a constant reminder of God’s unconditional love; no matter whose child it is, they are all bundles of joy that He shares with us.


 

 

Michele Johnson-Gaylord
Teacher Assistant

Ms. Michele is a mobile teacher assistant and started working at the Child Development Center in April 2018. She has her 90-hour and 45-hour Infant & Toddler certifications and 99-hour Pre-School certification. She is currently completing her college degree in Psychology.

Ms. Michele loves working with children because she enjoys helping them with their educational journey.
