Cancer Rehabilitation

MedStar Health breast cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema management services are provided by extensively trained physical and occupational therapists. These programs have been developed based on theses specialists’ knowledge of current medical management of breast cancer, including local and systemic treatments and reconstructive procedures.

After developing an individualized treatment plan for our patients, a major focus of our program is to educate and instruct each of them in self-help techniques so they can manage their condition independently.
