MedStar Good Samaritan offers a full range of services to help individuals recover from orthopaedic injuries, musculoskeletal injuries and neurological disorders. In partnership with the referring physician, our rehabilitation team collaborates to create a comprehensive recovery plan for each patient. This teamwork helps patients better achieve their goals and individual treatment outcomes.

The Outpatient Rehabilitation Program at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital has two teams, Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Services (CORS) and Outpatient Center for Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (OCOR), that are dedicated to providing patients and referring physicians with a comprehensive approach to care.

Outpatient Rehabilitation Treatments

Our therapy gym offers a full line of equipment that is designed to help you meet your treatment goals and achieve the mobility you desire. Our specialized rehab equipment includes stationary bikes, treadmills, BTE machines, weights and pain management modalities, such as the patterned electrical nerve stimulation (PENS) therapy system and Kinesio tape.

Our therapists use computer-aided motion analysis and real-time video to prevent future injuries by evaluating your running and then making recommendations for more efficient form as well as proper training techniques and footwear.
