We offer a team approach for optimal amputee rehabilitation. Patients will receive a comprehensive assessment with a physician, prosthetist and physical therapist. They will also gain access to additional services such as social work, podiatry, the Good Health Center and the Wound Healing Center.
The amputee clinic is available on Thursday afternoons, twice monthly.
This service is billed as a physician's visit and is covered by most insurances; some insurance plans may require a referral from your primary care physician.
The Amputee Support Group is open to persons living with amputations and their significant others. Participants are involved in educational programs, discussion of general concerns and opportunities to develop supportive relationships.
Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 1:30 p.m. and are free to all attendees in the Good Health Center.
