The Aquatics Program helps adults recovering from orthopaedic, neurological and musculoskeletal injuries. Because of the buoyancy it provides, exercising in warm water has many benefits, including pain relief, reduction in swelling and stress on the joints, progressive weight bearing, ease of movement, as well as psychological benefits. The two-to-four week program is staffed by therapists with training in aquatic therapy.
Participation is by appointment only. Appointments are held near the hospital at the League for People with Disabilities facility.
